Sean M. McGuinness

NASHUA – Sean M. McGuinness, 60, died peacefully at his home on Sunday morning, April 8, 2018 following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sean is the beloved husband of Jeanne (Beigel) McGuinness with whom he shared 34 years of marriage.

Sean was born in Lima, Ohio on December 3, 1957 and is the son of Barbara (Broe) McGuinness of Sunapee, NH and the late Donald McGuinness. He attended Daniel Webster College and he graduated with his bachelor’s degree.

Sean established his career as a mortgage banker and dedicated 30 years to the industry which also included owning and operating his own business in Downtown Nashua.

Sean is a former Ward 1 Alderman, which he served two terms; and he is also a former State Representative for Ward 1. He was a member of the Board of Harbor Homes for many years. In his free time, Sean enjoyed fishing and skiing. He will forever be missed for the loyal and faithful friend and family man that he was. He truly enjoyed his time with his family and cherished every minute.

In addition to his wife, Jeanne of Nashua and his mother Barbara; Sean is survived by his three sons Tim McGuinness and his wife Laura of Merrimack, Mike McGuinness of Nashua, and Chris McGuinness of Nashua; his grandson, Sean M. McGuinness; as well as his two brothers, Timothy McGuinness and his wife Tracy of Nashua and Patrick McGuinness of Utah. He is also survived by his two sisters, Maureen McGuinness and her husband Peter St. Martin of E. Hampton, MA and Margaret Goss and her husband Ed of Wilton; as well as his father-in-law Regis Beigel of Nashua; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on THURSDAY, April 12thfrom 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral will be held on FRIDAY, April 13th at 11 AM in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be held at the convenience of his family.
