Robert ‘Bob’ Levenson

Adored husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and mentor…our dear Robert S. Levenson, 75, of Milford, NH passed away peacefully with his family by his side in his home in the early morning hours of February 27, 2018. Bob was born March 4, 1942 to Lillian (Taylor) Levenson and Arthur A. Levenson and grew up in Newton, MA. A graduate of Boston University, Bob, married his sweetheart Arleen (Baron) Levenson on September 8, 1963. Bob built a successful career in the men’s clothing industry having worked in various positions throughout his lifetime. An avid fan of nature, Bob introduced his son and grandsons to fishing at an early age, while sharing his love of photography with his precious granddaughter. Bob loved his family deeply and fought long and hard to be with them for as long as was humanly possible. Survived by his devoted wife Arleen, daughter Lisa (Levenson) Des Marais, her boyfriend Peter Volonino, grandchildren Zach and Emma Des Marais of Chelmsford and son Matt Levenson, his wife Angela (Denny) Levenson, grandsons Alec, Aaron and Aidan Levenson of Clayton, MO. Philosophical and thoughtful to the end, Bob wanted us all to “Think not of what was lost, but rather of what was gained”. So to honor him and his wishes, we invite you to join us for a Celebration of His Life on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center, 219 Littleton Rd., Westford, MA from 1-5pm. In lieu of flowers, and if you wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to Home, Health and Hospice Care of Merrimack, NH, a group of the some of the most caring and compassionate individuals Bob had the good fortune to meet on the final days of his journey. Rest in peace, now, Bob – your work here is done and you’ve left everyone and everything in perfect order. LOHUKI ylf
