Leonard P. Morin
Leonard Paul Morin, the son of Gabrielle Chaput Morin and Wilbert Morin, passed away at his Nashua home last Thursday evening. He was 66 years old.
A master woodworker, Leonard owned L. Morin Restoration Co. for over 40 years, restoring thousands of pieces for his valued clients. His experience and expertise made him the local go to guy when someone needed an antique restored or appraised.
A loving father and husband, Leonard spent a lot of time with his family. The dinners he prepared were a nightly affair, and despite his Yankee demeanor, he opened his home to friends throughout his life.
During his personal time, Leonard enjoyed gardening, fishing, hiking, and camping. He respected hard-work, loyalty, and a good joke. His frank wisdom and quick wit will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda L. Morin, and his son, Andrew L. Morin.
Per Leonard’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held in the White Mountains over the summer. We will also be having a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 17th, from 5pm-9pm at his home- 191 West Hollis St. in Nashua. Family, friends, and anyone else who would like to pay your respects are welcome.
