Marcella ‘Marci’ Woodman

It’s with great sadness to share with you that our mother, Marci Woodman, passed away peacefully on February 4th due to complications with pneumonia. She was surrounded by her loving children and Woody, her husband of 51 years. For those of you that knew Marci, she had a passion for teaching and talked about her students with the care and love of a mother. She was a mom that coached her kids in track, sat at their baseball games and later in life enjoyed playing golf with her husband. She made the best chili casserole and sea food chowder. She was a woman that had a passion for literature and loved to debate. As a family, we spent wonderful summers together in York Beach Maine and those will always be some of our fondest memories. She loved her best friend Sandy like a sister. She could knit a sweater like it was bought off the rack and she loved to gamble and drink dirty martinis. Her love for her husband Woody knew no bounds. She was an amazing wife, mother and friend and as it said on her license plate “the 5 Foot Terror” will be dearly missed. Services will remain private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nashua Humane Society where she rescued her beloved dog Fenway in her

memory.
