Benjamin Joseph Nadeau, 42 of Hudson, NH died Tuesday January 23, 2018 at his mother’s home in Hudson.

Born April 6, 1975 in Nashua, he was the son of Demetria (Siemanowicz) Nadeau, of Hudson and the late Robert Nadeau who died April 22, 2017.

Benjamin was a graduate of Alvirne High School and attended Thompson School at the University of New Hampshire, receiving an associate’s degree.

Ben was elected to the Hudson Board of Selectmen in 2005 and served for a total of nine years before being elected to the Hudson School Board. Prior to being elected to the board of selectmen, Ben served six years on the Hudson Town Budget Committee.

Ben was a member of the Hudson Historical Society. He had also volunteered at the St. John’s Food Pantry and Friends of Benson’s Committee.

Besides his mother, survivors include his wife, Jennifer (Smilikis) Nadeau, of Hudson; a son, Logan Nadeau (age 8) and a daughter, Bailey Nadeau (age 6), both of Hudson; two step-daughters, Amanda Sturtevant, of Lowell, MA and Cassie Girouard, of Hudson; three sisters, Vanessa Nadeau, of Hudson, Karen LaFlamme and Lisa Northup, both of VT; one brother, Jason Glidden, of VA as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held Saturday February 3, 2018 at 3:30 pm in the chapel of the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral service Saturday from 1:00 – 3:30 pm. Burial will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family.
