Thomas S. Spillane

Dec 8, 2017

Thomas S. Spillane, 53, of Hudson, died unexpectedly on December 3, 2017, after a motor vehicle accident.

Born in Norwood, MA on November 27, 1964, he was the son of Walter and Jean (Lambert) Spillane. He grew up in Tewksbury, MA and was a graduate of Shawsheen Regional Technical High School in Billerica, MA where he earned his license as an electrician. Tom then went on to obtain his Master Electrician license and spent his entire life in the field that he loved, most recently for Local 103.

Tom had a great sense of humor and was the master of the photo bomb. Not only did he love to have fun, “he was the fun”! He enjoyed hiking, travelling and exploring with his wife Wendy and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Tractor rides with “Papa” were a favorite. Above all, Tom will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Family includes his father, Walter Spillane of Tewksbury, MA; his wife of 13 years, Wendy Spillane of Hudson; four daughters, Melanie Banks of Manchester, Sarah Gooden and Jason of Manchester, Melanie Spillane of Hudson, currently studying in Ireland, and Katrina Spillane of Hudson; two sons, Stephen Gooden and Nicole of Milford, and Michael Gooden and Danielle of Goffstown; ten grandchildren, Jeremy, Autumn, Brianna, Ivy, Emily, Rachel, Devon, Mya, Jace, and Isabella; and three sisters, Theresa Allen and David of CO, Lisa Spillane of MA, and Bonnie Spillane of Toronto, Canada. Tom was predeceased by his mother, Jean Spillane in 2015.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 9th, at Shiloh Community Church, 55 Edmond St., Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local charitable organization of your choice, or like Tom did, buy a cup of coffee for a homeless person and spend a few minutes talking with them. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. To leave a message of condolence, please go to www.lambertfuneralhome.com.
