Theresa Angel Simoneau
Theresa Angel Simoneau, 83, of Nashua, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side.
Theresa was born May 30, 1934 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was the only daughter of the late Albert & Lumina (Laperle) Turgeon.
At 6 months old, Theresa and her family moved to New Port, RI. At 15yrs of age her family moved again, this time to Nashua where she has remained until her death. She graduated Nashua High School in 1952. She was briefly employed at Newberry’s Five & Dime as well as JF McElwain. She loved to read, play cards, do puzzles and make cut-up-cakes for her children when they were young.
She met and fell in love with Paul E Simoneau while attending Nashua High School and they were married on October 1, 1955. Theresa was predeceased by her husband Paul who passed away November 21, 2010 after 55 wonderful years of marriage. Theresa was also predeceased by her only brother Jean-Paul Turgeon and his wife Betty, son-in-law Michael Williams, grandson Matthew Simoneau and great grandson Asher Simoneau.
Theresa is survived by two sons, Donald Simoneau and his wife Joyce and Michael Simoneau and his wife Kathy, both lifelong residents of Nashua. Three daughters, Diane Williams and late husband Michael from Orlando, Florida, Rita Boyle and her husband Bryan from Orlando, Florida and Claire Simoneau and Jim McElroy of Apopka, Florida. Eight grandchildren; Alex, Christopher, Tanya, Jennifer, Krystal, Kristen & Jamie, seven great grandchildren; Matthew, Hailey, Kyle, Joey, Julia, Kallie and Jillian.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Friday Morning, June 16thÂ from 8:30 until 9:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Burial will take place at a later date in St Louis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Home Heath & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Dr. Merrimack, NH 03054.
