Rosanne Stapleford passed away suddenly March 5th surrounded by her family in Nashua NH.
Rosanne was born in Bar Harbor, Maine on February 11, 1944 to Elliott and Dorothy Higgins. Rosanne was employed for many years by the Melrose School System and was a passionate Vice President of the Melrose Human Society. Upon retirement, she and the love of her life, David, moved to Nashua NH to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Rosanne’s passion for life was evident to all who knew and loved her; she had a way of making everyone in the room feel loved. She was a frequent traveler and especially enjoyed her trips to Italy. As time allowed her gardening skills were appreciated by her neighbors and family.
She was preceded by her parents Elliott and Dorothy Higgins, her brother William Higgins, and her sister Nancy Harrington. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years David, of Nashua, NH, daughter Christine Kelly and partner Ed Lesko of Manchester NH, daughter Deborah and David Gallucci of Windham NH. Grandchildren TJ and David of Manchester NH. Miquela, Zackary, Madison, and Gabby of Windham, NH.
A celebration of Rosanne’s life will be celebrated on Friday, March 10th from 5:00pm-7:30pm, with a service of remembrance at 7:30pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST. IN HUDSON, NH. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made in Rosanne’s loving memory to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Rd, Nashua, NH 03064.
