Harold Weisman

Harold Weisman, 84, of Nashua, NH passed away peacefully Saturday morning, January 14, 2017. Born June 22, 1932 in Revere, MA he was the son of Charles and Minnie Weisman. Married twice, he was predeceased by his first wife Lois Weisman of Revere and survived by his second wife Anne Rivers of Malden, although divorced, have remained dear friends. He is survived by his long time companion, Luanne Lemay of Nashua, NH. He was also predeceased by his four brothers, Arthur Weisman, Albert Weisman, Daniel Weisman and William Weisman as well as his sister Marian Schreibman.

As a young man, Harold held various jobs at Revere Beach. He also worked as a jeweler and later in the furniture business, both in Boston before settling into the career he loved, real estate. As a real estate broker primarily based in Nashua, Harold worked for The Codman Company representing sales for John Stabile and Co, as a broker alongside Pat Clancy Realty, and most recently, Etchstone Properties. Harold was most proud of and would frequently boast of the thousands of homes he had sold in the Nashua area.

Harold was a member of Temple Beth Abraham in Nashua. He was active in his favorite sports of tennis and softball, playing in the Nashua Senior League until his 80th birthday. He enjoyed watching the Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots with his children and grandchildren as often as possible. Not needing or wanting for much, he was always certain to get at least 20 minutes of sun each day. Harold always enjoyed the ocean, especially, in the summer. Harold loved spending time with any member of his family and being home was always his favorite place to be.

Survivors include his children, Mitchel Weisman and wife Paula of Marblehead, MA, Terre Weisman of Nashua, Marcie Shay of Nashua, Nancy Weisman of Hartford, CT, Lauren Galentine of Jupiter, FL and Daughter in-law Peggy Proko Weisman of Nashua. Harold is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Nathan and Justin Weisman, Sarah and Craig Weisman, and Brandi and John Gravalesse.

SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held at Temple Beth Abraham, 4 Raymond Street Nashua, NH. January 16, 2017. 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place immediately following at Temple Beth Abraham Cemetery 428 West Hollis Street Nashua, NH. Evening service at the home of Terre Weisman 7:30 P.M. Monday only. In memory of Harold, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or to the Community Hospice House 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack NH.
