NASHUA – Yoeun Chum, 50, died at her home on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Yoeun was born in Battambong, Cambodia on January 2, 1966. She was the beloved daughter of Soeun Chum and Mouk Chhuon of Lowell.
She was employed at Benchmark Electronics.
Yoeun was a beautiful person inside and out with a smile that would turn the whole room with happiness. She was the oldest of six siblings and loved each one of her siblings dearly. She will be missed by all deeply. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, loved trips to the beach, and decorating. She was also an avid New England Patriots fan. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family.
In addition to her parents, Yoeun is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Chum of Lowell, and her son Mark Chum of Nashua; her granddaughter Kassidy Chum; her siblings, Ray Chum, Neang Chum, Rida Chum, John Chum, and Peter Chum; as well as many nieces and nephews, Nathan Chum, Tevin Kheav, Justin Phanthanvong, Jacob Chum, Calvin Kou, and Ariden Kou.
Her service will be held on Sunday, January 1st beginning at 3 PM followed by her funeral ceremony from 5 until 8 PM at Glory Buddhist Temple, 24 Cambridge Street, Lowell, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her cremation ceremony on Monday, January 2nd at 8 AM from Glory Buddhist Temple to the Merrimack Cremation Service, 10 Henry Clay Drive, Merrimack, NH for her cremation at 9 AM.
