Karen Lee Scott

Karen Lee Scott (Cronin), 61, of Brookline, NH, died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH. Born in Natick, MA, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Cronin and Shirley (Trumbull) Valukis of Wrentham, MA.

Karen grew up in Natick, MA and graduated from Natick High School in 1972. She earned her LNA certificate as well as a degree in radiology and inhalation therapy.

Karen worked for 20 years as an LNA at The Elms in Milford, NH. She loved to travel, going on cruises and especially visiting Disney World with her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and her grandchildren were everything to her. Holidays were always a big event for Karen. She loved to cook and also enjoyed playing bingo.

Karen is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 42 years, Jeffrey Scott; one daughter, Kerry Ali and her husband, Mujahid, of Brookline, NH; two sons, Keith Scott and his wife, Sarah, of Brookline, NH, and James Scott, of Brookline, NH; two sisters, Rabonna Wills, of Bellingham, MA and Mauria Bristow and her husband Paul of Narragansett, RI; three brothers, Willard Cronin and his wife Linda of Leesburg, FL, Kevin Cronin and his wife Angela of Panama City, FL and Terry Cronin and his wife Beth of Sutton, MA; and six grandchildren, Jace Michael, Haylee, Paris, Grayson Michael, Nadiya, and Jacob. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Karen was predeceased by her son, Michael Scott; and by her father Maurice and brother-in-law, Roderick Wills.

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 29, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Michaud Funeral Home Chapel, 32 Maple Street, Wilton, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH, followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Abbott Hill Road, Wilton, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall St., Manchester, NH.
