Richard Edmonds Jr.
Richard Edmonds Jr., 61, formerly of Burlington, VT, passed away Tuesday, July 12, in his Merrimack, NH home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Haverhill, MA in 1955, Rick attended high school in Vermont, and received his BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in 1978. After residing in New Hampshire and Florida, Rick followed his heart and moved back to Burlington, VT.
Rick, as he was known to his friends, was an extraordinarily talented and gifted graphic designer and the owner of edmonds|creative, where he worked with international as well as local clientele to create a distinctive brand and promote their business.
An avid cyclist, Rick enjoyed cycling in Burlington, VT, along with many other places, and documented his cycling adventures with his exceptional photography skills.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Richard "Dick" Edmonds, Sr. With his passing he leaves behind his wife, Cindy Edmonds of Burlington, VT; his mother Renee Edmonds of Merrimack; two brothers & their wives, David and Carol Edmonds of Merrimack, NH; Jim and Loretta Edmonds of Goffstown, NH; a sister & her husband, Susan and John Mason of Merrimack, NH; his aunt and Godmother Louise Orlando of Haverhill, MA; and many nieces and nephews, who enjoyed his creativity, sense of humor and dry wit.
Arrangements are being handled by Rivet Funeral Home in Merrimack, NH. Calling hours are Monday, July 18th from 5-8pm, followed by a brief memorial service at 8pm. A private interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern NH or the University of Vermont Medical Center, in appreciation for their care and support.
