Betty J. (Adams) Cahoon

Nashua, NH – Betty J. (Adams) Cahoon, 82, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 8th, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Milford Cahoon.

Born on August 27, 1933 in Randolph VT, Betty was the daughter of the late Mary (Vesper) and Chester Adams. She graduated from the South Royalton High School in South Royalton Vermont.

Betty worked for many years at the Christmas Tree Shops in cash operations. She enjoyed knitting, bingo, taking trips to Foxwoods, having lunches and shopping with friends, but most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Betty is survived by and will be deeply missed by her five children; Bill Townsend and his wife Joan of Hampstead, NH, Marcia Forcier and her husband Steven of Nashua, NH, Mary Landry and her husband Michael of Brookline, NH, Pam Ouellette and her husband Bruce of Nashua and Sue Young and her husband Allen of Nashua Her four Siblings; sisters Ruth Adams of Merrimack, NH and Jean Silver and her husband William of Loudon, NH, brothers Doug McGrail and his wife Kathy of Boscawen, NH and Chet Adams of Pensacola, FL. She was the devoted grandmother to ten grandchildren, Jennifer Forcier and significant other Chris Newton, Bryce Ouellette and his wife Sue, Jason Forcier and his significant other Lashandra Long, Lori Dubois and her husband Ben, Robin Ouellette and her fiance Aaron Wittenauer, Ashleigh and her husband Patrick, Shane Townsend and his fiance Lauren Grout, Chad Young and his significant other Emily George, Taylor Landry and Nicole Landry, as well as eleven great grandchildren; Raykwon Forcier, Cyrus Forcier, Gaven Forcier, Nick Page, Nathan Page, Noah Ouellette, Austin Ouellette, Shelby Dubois, Aubrey Dubois, Tucker Young, Colin Higgins, and one great, great grandchild Lilly Page.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, June 15th from 3-7 P.M at the Anctil-Rochette and Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St, Nashua, NH. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, June 16th at 11:00 A.M. in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, NH.
