Marilyn J. Elwell

Marilyn J. Elwell, of Goffstown and formerly of Nashua, died at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home on Friday evening, May 27, 2016.

She was born on June 15, 1950, in Astoria, Long Island, NY, a daughter of the late Edward Jr. and Gloria Elwell.

She was a graduate of Nashua High School, Class of 1968.

Miss Elwell had worked for the former J.F. McElwain in their office for many years.

She had been a member of the National Association of Physically Handicapped and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She is survived by a sister, Kelly Poliquin of Nashua; two nieces, Gloria Hallett and Jennifer Poliquin; her grandnephews, Myles Jadis, Seth Hallett, Taylor Hallett and Jerami Taylor; and a grandniece, Nina Taylor.

Marilyn was at Hillsborough County nursing home for the last 19 years and had a wonderful group of nurse and staff who took great care of her while at the facility and will be greatly missed.

Also hospice helped fulfill her bucket list in her last hours of life bringing in miniature horses for her to see and touch. She enjoyed them so much and was grateful for their presence.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be observed on Saturday, June 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home, 400 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH 03045.
