Robert L. Bollinger III

Nashua, NH – Robert L. Bollinger III, 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, June 2nd, after a valiant battle against cancer.

Robert was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on July 25, 1945 and grew up in Whippany, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Hanover Park High School in East Hanover, New Jersey. After high school, he attended Xaiver University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and later enlisted in the United States Navy. His service included deployment to Vietnam in 1968, where he served in HA(L)-3 (Helicopter Attack Squadron (Light) 3), aka "Seawolves." He made his career in sales, primarily in the defense electronics industry, working with numerous companies prior to his retirement. In retirement, he was able to travel with his wife, spend lots of time with his grandchildren, enjoy a good beer, and he never ever passed up an opportunity to play a round of golf.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Anne (Recenello) Bollinger of Denville, NJ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary (Gallagher) Bollinger of Nashua; his children, Robert Bollinger and his wife Lisa of Nashua, and Tracy Boucher and her husband Timothy of Oak Park, IL; his grandchildren, Madeline, Robert, Abigail and Caroline; his brother Kevin Bollinger of Denville, NJ; and sister Kathy Staudt of Houston, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no visiting hours.
