Kathleen ‘Kathy’ A. Milano

Kathleen “Kathy” A. Milano, 64, of Merrimack and formerly of Marstons Mills, MA, passed away on May 31, 2016, after a long illness with ALS.

Daughter of the late Helen and Daniel Brandano, Sr., Kathy was born in Winthrop, MA, and graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in 1977. Following graduation, she attended dental school in Massachusetts. After school, she married James Milano.

Kathy was a woman who defined her life by her family and friends. She was an artistic person who loved painting and gardening. She also loved her friendship with her dear friend Joanne and wonderful caretakers at Hillsboro County Nursing Home.

She is the loving mother to Matthew Milano and his wife Victoria of Hingham, MA, and Mark Milano of Danvers, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Luke and Isabella Milano. She was a dear sister to Nancy and her husband Jack Walsh of Manchester, NH; Marianne and her husband Lawrence Simeone, of Boxford, MA; and to brother Daniel Brandano, Jr., and his wife Joan of Florida. Loving aunt to nieces Jillian and her husband Scott Vaillancourt and Meagan and her husband James Meegan, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, June 2nd, at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack on Friday, June 3rd, at 9:15 AM. Burial will follow at Sandwich Town Cemetery, Sandwich, MA.
