James Michael Campbell ‘Jim’
James Campbell ("Jim"), 59, died Monday, May 30th at his home in Nashua, NH, surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born in Lowell, Ma., son of the late K. Fay Molloy and Edward L. Campbell of 14 Roosevelt Ave., North Chelmsford, Ma. Jim is survived by his loving wife Linda and daughters Rebecca Cardamone and husband Anthony of Amherst, NH, Melissa Hawley and husband Kevin of Billerica, MA. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Katelyn and Jacob Hawley and mother-in-law (and shopping and movie companion) Pauline Beardsley of Nashua, NH. In addition, he leaves a brother, Edward J. Campbell and wife Tammy; nephews Benjamin and Nicholas Campbell of Hollis, NH; and sister Colleen Morin and husband Richard of Raleigh, NC; niece Heather Hildreth; and nephews Justin and Kyle Morin. He also leaves several great-nieces and -nephews and many cousins. He will also be missed by his beloved pets Sam, Mia and especially Max.
Over the years, Jim worked as a health care provider at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and the Easter Seals of Manchester, NH. As a caregiver, Jim’s personality and humor brought his patients a great sense of comfort.
Growing up, Jim enjoyed annual family vacations to Newfound Lake and Tony and Ann’s Pizza (so much so he waited in line for four hours when they reopened in Dracut). He enjoyed rooting for the New England Patriots and spending time with his family at Sebago Lake in Maine, trips to Walt Disney World and also Myrtle Beach, SC, where he particularly enjoyed the Calabash buffets.
The family would like to thank the Circle Home Health and Hospice Care of Lowell, Ma., and friends who provided care and support during this difficult time.
A gathering to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on Thursday, June 2, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, followed by a short service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Circle Home Health and Hospice Care, 847 Rogers Street Suite 201, Lowell, MA 01852.
