Ruth B. Robinson, 81, of Lyndeborough, NH, died, January 15, 2015, at the Crestwood Center, with her family by her side. Ruth was born in Gilsum, NH, on August 25, 1933. Her passion in life was her family. She and her husband, John, loved to take long walks around Zephyr Lake, in Greenfield, with their family. Holidays were a joyful time at Ruth’s home where family and good friends gathered to celebrate. Ruth had a large collection of dolls and cared for her 2 dogs, Lucy and Lovey. She enjoyed camping at Greenfield State Park and making puzzles. In the summer months she loved to watch for butterflies. She loved spending time with her son-in-law’s mother, Betty Cave, watching TV.
Ruth is survived by 2 daughters, Arlene Bishop, and her husband, Gerald, of Mackville, Kentucky, Madelene Cave, and her husband, Tyler, of Lyndeborough, NH; 2 stepsons, James Robinson, of Bennington, NH, and Joseph Robinson, and his wife, Donna, of Bennington, NH; 2 stepdaughters, Marie Brinkley, and her husband, Leo, of North Dakota, and Marion Edmondson, and her husband, Bill, of Concord, NH; 1 sister, Marcia Bolio, of Charlemont, MA. She has 8 step-grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her stepson, John Robinson, and his wife, Edie, and a daughter-in-law, Jean Robinson.
Family and friends are warmly welcome to calling hours on Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will follow at 4 p.m. in the Michaud Funeral Home Chapel, 32 Maple Street, Wilton, NH.
Burial will be in the South Cemetery, Lyndeborough, NH, in the spring.
