Clyde N. Nordquist Jr.
Clyde N. Nordquist, Jr., 70, of Nashua, passed away on Tuesday June 1, 2010 surrounded by his family and new wife at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack.
Clyde was born in Brockton, MA on November 1, 1939, a son of the late Clyde N. Sr. & Helen I. (Smith) Nordquist. He was the husband of Pamela (Stabile) Nordquist of Nashua, whom he married May 23, 2010.
Clyde spent the majority of his life in Nashua. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a truck driver for McLaughlin Transportation for many years. He was a US Army veteran serving from 1960 to 1965. Clyde was a lifetime member of the Club Social. He was a caring and loving man that loved to help others. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him well. Clyde was predeceased by a brother and his first wife Carolann Nordquist in 2005.
Clyde is survived by two daughters, Carolann Marcoux and her husband Keith of Londonderry and Becky Nordquist and her fiancé Daniel Hunt of Derry; three grandchildren, Keith Marcoux Jr., Mollie Hunt and Aaron Marcoux; a step-daughter, Laurel Pierpond and her husband Edward of Jonesville, VT; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends the he has touched in his life.
SERVICES: There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services will be held on Monday June 7, 2010 in Woodlawn Cemetery at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054 or to the American Cancer Society 2 Commerce Dr. Suite 110 Bedford, NH 03110.
