1 dead, 1 injured in Chesterfield shooting
CHESTERFIELD, N.H. (AP) - Authorities say one man is dead and another hospitalized, both of apparent gunshot wounds, after a shooting in Chesterfield.
Police did not release information about where the incident took place or specific details about those involved in the Saturday shooting.
Attorney General Michael Delaney, State Police Colonel Robert Quinn and Chesterfield Police Chief Lester Fairbanks said in a statement that the investigation is ongoing and that, based on their findings, there is no danger to the public.
Officials say the identities of those involved are being withheld pending notification of family. They say an autopsy for the dead man will be scheduled.
