Host faces alcohol charge in NH party death case

MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire man who hosted a Halloween party where a man was killed has been arrested and charged with facilitating an under age alcohol party.

The New Hampshire Union Leader reports 20-year-old Robert Brackett of Merrimack is free on $3,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Dec. 8 in Merrimack District Court.

Authorities said 23-old Christopher Vydol of Nashua was stabbed once in the chest at Brackett’s house early Sunday morning and died later at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Twenty-three-year-old Corey Furgal of Merrimack was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree murder. He is being held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 10.
