Revised NH parks plan being released today
CONCORD (AP) — New Hampshire officials are releasing a revised 10-year development plan for the state’s parks.
Last summer, a draft plan was released that identified 27 parks that produce no income that the state seemed to indicate a willingness to lease or sell. Many of the targeted parks are so small they don’t charge an entrance fee.
After a public outcry, state officials withdrew the draft for further work, saying it was misinterpreted and that they never intended to sell the parks. The new draft is scheduled to be released today.
