Police: Father charged with shooting son in Sanbornton

SANBORNTON (AP) — A man has been charged with shooting his son in the legs at a home in Sanbornton, New Hampshire.

WMUR-TV reports 61-year-old Lloyd Barnard’s bail was set at $100,000 Monday at his arraignment on charges of attempted murder and first-degree assault. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer. ...

The son was hospitalized after the shooting Sunday night. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening.
