BEDFORD (AP) – Traffic is being reduced to one lane at night on the F.E. Everett Turnpike-Interstate 293 in Bedford and Manchester this week for paving work.

The work started Tuesday night and goes through Friday night.

Paving is happening on northbound and southbound lanes, from just south of Route 3-South River Road over the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Bedford to just south of the Queen City Avenue Exit 4 on I-293 in Manchester.

Minor delays are expected and construction signs are in place.

The work is part of the resurfacing of the $3.1 million central turnpike project, which is scheduled to be finished Sept. 12.
