SALEM (AP) – Authorities say a man accused of assaulting a New Hampshire police officer, taking his cruiser and threatening to shoot officers over the weekend is expected to be arraigned.

Robert Zygarowski of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, is expected to face charges in court in Salem on Monday.

Police have accused the 52-year-old Zygarowski, who was zapped with a stun gun during a traffic stop early Saturday, of yanking out the barbs, assaulting the officer and fleeing into Massachusetts. He was eventually arrested in New Hampshire.

It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer.
