Boston Billards partners with YMCA of Greater Nashua; $60,000 in support of Y scholarships

By Staff | Oct 10, 2021

The YMCA of Greater Nashua has a 135-year history of responding to the needs of the Greater Nashua community, focusing on the areas of healthy living, youth development and social responsibility. Thanks to Boston Billiards, $60,860 will help keep YMCA programs and services accessible to all, regardless of a person’s ability to pay. Last year, the YMCA awarded $446,000 in Y Cares Financial Assistance Scholarships to enable children, adults and seniors with limited financial means to participate in any Y program or service. This includes significant aid for childcare, afterschool care and summer camp, allowing parents who are low-wage earners to work or return to school and afford quality childcare. This significant donation from Boston Billiards will help the Y continue to award Y Cares scholarships.
