River Action

By Mathew Plamondon | Jun 7, 2019

At approximately 3 p.m. Thursday, Nashua police officers and emergency responders work near the Main Street Bridge to get an unidentified man out of the Nashua River. Officers eventually restrained the man, but declined to say if he would be charged with any crimes or violations. The man did not appear to be injured. ‘We didn’t want to escalate the situation to cause something that would be more reckless or dangerous to the person or our first responders,’ Nashua Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Karl Gerhard said.
