Foodies flock to downtown for annual event
NASHUA – Main Street became even more of a destination than usual for those seeking eclectic foods, beverages and retail items on Wednesday during the 25th annual Taste of Downtown.
Not only does the event help to fund many of the other functions Great American Downtown organizes throughout the year, it also gives those wandering in and out of different establishments the ability to rediscover or find new shops they either hadn’t been in or didn’t know about prior to the event.
With the opportunity to show the community the myriad of food styles offered downtown, participating restaurants and caterers showcased many of their best dishes.
While the event remained a food-centric endeavor, many of the independent retailers who partnered with the restaurants and caterers also showed the community what they too had to offer.
