By Staff | May 24, 2019

NASHUA – The city’s Solid Waste Department will be closed on Monday to observe Memorial Day. The Four Hills Landfill/Nashua Recycling Center will be closed that day, while there will be no collections at curbside.

Normal operations will resume on Tuesday when the Monday routes will be collected. Tuesday’s routes will be picked up on Wednesday; Wednesday’s areas on Thursday; and Thursday’s pickups will occur on Friday. Friday’s neighborhoods will be collected on Saturday.

Residents must place all trash in garbage bags before putting the bags in the cart. Carts must be kept at least three feet from any obstacle, such as a mailbox, and at least 10 feet away from vehicles parked at curbside. All containers must be at curbside by 6:45 a.m. on collection day.

The next collection for Household Hazardous Wastes from 3-7 p.m. June 6 at the Public Works garage on Stadium Drive, near the police station.
