By Dean Shalhoup - Senior Staff Writer | Nov 16, 2018

MERRIMACK – Police said Thursday that members of the department’s Accident Investigation Unit continue to examine evidence and study the circumstances surrounding the crash that fatally injured 22-year-old Danielle Bonner.

The crash occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Monday, police said, when a 2008 Hyundai Elantra driven by Bonner veered off Amherst Road and slammed into a tree in front of 17 Amherst Road, police said.

Bonner, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was extricated from the wreckage by firefighters and rescue personnel. She was rushed to a local hospital, but was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The scene of the crash is less than 100 yards from the home Bonner shared with members of her family.

Bonner graduated from Merrimack High School in 2015 and had been attending University of New Hampshire at Manchester, according to her obituary.

Calling hours are scheduled for 5-8 p.m. today at St. John Neumann Church, with a Mass of Christian burial set for 11 a.m. Saturday, also at the church.

Her full obituary can be viewed at www.nashuatelegraph.com.
