Area man faces multiple charges

At 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a residence on Gauthier Road for a report of road rage. One of the parties was reportedly blocking an entrance to a driveway and possibly intoxicated. Officers then identified this party as Picard.

Picard said he experienced mechanical problems with his vehicle. When said he pulled to the side of the roadway to address the situation, but his vehicle collided with a parked vehicle.

While speaking with Picard, officers said they observed signs of alcohol impairment. Officers then arrested Picard for driving while intoxicated.
