Victims in Mass. crash identified

CHELMSFORD, Mass. – State Troopers released the names of the two victims involved in the head-on collision crash, which took place at about 1:30 a.m. Monday in Chelmsford on Route 3.

Massachusetts State Police said the Nissan Altima, which allegedly was being driven at speeds of “over 100 mph” south in the northbound lane of Route 3 near exit 32, was driven by 42-year-old Rebecca Savoie of Nashua. Savoie’s vehicle collided with the Dodge Avenger driven by 21-year-old Noah Martin of Hudson. Savoie was pronounced dead at the scene. Martin was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he ultimately died from sustained injuries.

Visiting hours for Martin will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Nichols Funeral Home in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Martin’s obituary at legacy.com states “a service to celebrate Noah’s life” will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Information on Savoie’s services was not immediately available late Wednesday.
