Granite Shield sting nets eight arrests

NASHUA – The Nashua and Hudson police department conducted another Granite Shield operation this week, with eight people arrested on a variety of drug charges.

Those arrested are:

Daniel Frost, 27, of Berlin, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug, heroin, which is his second offense, resulting in a felony. He will face enhanced penalties because of his prior conviction. Frost was released on personal recognizance bail and is set to be arraigned on Oct. 18.

Johnny Reyes, 22, of Nashua, was arrested and charged with sale of a controlled drug, heroin, second offense. He will face enhanced penalties as a result of having a prior drug conviction. After refusing bail, he was scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 4.

Miranda Mello, 23, of Nashua, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug, Clonazepam, second offense, possession of a controlled drug, Diazepam, second offense, and theft by unauthorized taking. Mellow will face enhanced penalties due to having a prior drug conviction. Mello was released on personal recognizance bail, and is set to answer to the two drug-related felonies and the theft misdemeanor at an arraignment on Oct. 13.

Anthony Clark, 22, no fixed address, was arrested and charged with sale of a controlled drug, cocaine, second offense. Clark will face enhanced penalties due to having a prior drug conviction. After being held without bail, Clark was scheduled for arraignment on Oct. 4.

Ashley Silva, 32, of Nashua, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug, Suboxone, possession of a controlled drug, Adderall, and possession of controlled drug. Silva was released on personal recognizance bail and is set to answer to the two felonies and one misdemeanor on Oct. 18.

Chad Silver, 35, no fixed address, was arrested on an active Capias warrant issued by the Hillsborough South Superior Court. Silver was released on personal recognizance with an arraignment set for Oct. 4.

Michael Levesque, 32, of Hudson, was arrested and charged with transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, and was released on personal recognizance. Levesque is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 31.

Esteban Nunez, 33, of Nashua, was arrested and charged with sale of a controlled drug, marijuana. Nunez was released on $1,000 cash bail and is set to be arraigned on Oct. 18.
