Food trucks to roll into city

NASHUA – The 2018 Southern New Hampshire Food Truck Festival rolls into town Sept. 22 and will feature all sorts of mouthwatering, finger-licking treats, such as empanadas, cupcakes, pizza, egg rolls, poutine and more.

The event is 1-6 p.m. at Holman Stadium, and will include live music from The Rampage Trio, DJ Josh Lavespere, a bean bag toss tournament, giant yard games, craft beer and more.

This year’s festival is hosted by the iUGO, a young professionals group with the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.

Participating food trucks are expected to include: Boogalows Island BBQ, Chez Rafiki’s Mediterranean Food, Chicks and Dogs Rolling Diner, Clyde’s Cupcakes, Empanada Dada, The Forking Awesome Food Truck, The Grub Guru, Herbie the Luv Bug (Silver Knights Beer Stand), Just Chill’n Cool Treats and Beverages, Kerry’s Culinary Creations & Curb Appeal Meals, Let’s Roll EggRolls, Made with Love Food Truck, Phoenix Rising Pizza, Pomaire Boston Chilean BBQ, The Poutine Co., Souped Up Food Truck, The Tracy Girl Food Truck Co., The Daily Press, Curb Appeal and more.

VIP tickets are available for $20 in advance, or for $25 on the day of the event. VIP ticket holders will also get a free event Koozie.

General admission tickets are $5 ahead of time or for $10 at the door. These will give patrons access to the festival from 2-6 p.m.

Organizers said the event will take place regardless of the weather circumstances, while there will be parking available on site.

Attendees will be required to have a printed or digital copy of the ticket that has a QR code. Tickets are transferable, but non-refundable. Dogs are not allowed.
