Gate City Brewfest on tap Saturday

NASHUA – Craft beer, hot wings, music and games are expected to draw thousands to Nashua’s Holman Stadium this weekend for the sixth annual Gate City Brewfest & Wing Competition.

The event is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the stadium, 67 Amherst St. Tickets are $35 the day of the event.

The 2017 competition drew an estimated crowd of 3,000. The People’s Choice winner was the Pig Tale Restaurant, located at 449 Amherst St. in Nashua. The Judge’s Choice winner was AJ’s Sports Bar & Grill, 11 Tracy Lane in Hudson.

According to the event’s website, others joining these defending champions in the wing competition this year include: Bertucci’s, British Beer Co., Burtons Grille, Margaritas Nashua, New England’s Tap House Grille, Outback Steakhouse, Prime Butcher of Hampstead, River Road Tavern, and The Flight Center.
