NPD drug sweep nabs six

NASHUA — Extensive investigations into the distribution of illegal drugs in the city culminated with the arrest of six individuals earlier this week.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Nashua police targeted drug-related activity, reeling in Jonathan Griffin, 35, of Nashua charging him with two counts of sale of a controlled drug (cocaine), second offense. He was held on $25,000 cash bail and was arraigned Thursday.

Alexander Waldron, 21, of Amherst, was also caught on a cocaine-related charge, sale of controlled drug (cocaine), and was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail. He’s scheduled for arraignment Aug. 2.

Michael Bendel, 26, of Hudson, was charged with possession of a controlled drug (clonazepam). He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance and is also scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 2.

Gage Armand, 18, of Nashua, was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute (marijuana). Armand was released on $200 cash bail and is set to be arraigned on Aug. 2.

Bush

Patrick Sleeper, 27, of Nashua, was charged with four counts of sale of a controlled drug (Suboxone), a capias warrant for the original charge of receiving stolen property/theft by deception and two electronic bench warrants for failure to appear. He was subsequently held without bail, and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday.

Finally, Julian Bush, 30, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of sale of a controlled drug (heroin), second offense. He was held on $25,000 cash and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
