Nashua man arrested for trying to pawn stolen goods
NASHUA – A local man was arrested Saturday for allegedly trying to pawn stolen property.
Officers responded to a call at Tradeland, a Nashua pawn shop, for a report that someone tried to pawn stolen property.
Joseph Catanzano, 26, of 14 Rancourt St., was arrested and charged with one felony count of receiving stolen property, police said. Since the stolen goods were valued at more than $1,500, he received a felony charge.
Catanzano was released on a $300 cash and $5,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 2.
As part of his bail conditions, Catanzano is to stay off the Tradeland property and have no contact with Cavalieri Construction in Everett, Massachusetts.
