Car crashes into CVS

NASHUA – A car crashed into the CVS Pharmacy on Main Street in the early hours of the morning Thursday, according to police.

Shortly before 1 a.m., the Nashua Police Department received a call about a four-door vehicle driving into the side of the building and through the wall, resulting possible injuries.

No additional information was immediately available late Thursday.

The store remained open Thursday, with crews working throughout the day to repair the large hole in the wall on the left hand side of the store. Employees declined to offer comment on the specifics of the accident. They did, however, say the store is not selling cosmetics while the building is under construction, as the vehicle broke through a portion of this section of the store during the accident.

A representative from CVS declined to offer comment on when officials expect construction to be complete. The accident is under investigation.
