Business After Hours

Carolyn Mortellaro talks with Mike Apfelberg, above, as they work their way down the food line at the Wednesday Business After Hours event. Eaton Berube Insurance in Nashua hosted the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce and Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. Woodwind and Whiskey, left, top, perform live music during the event, while Erika MacDonald, Carol Weeks, Bruce Burke, Keith Wentworth and Jeff MacDonald, left bottom, enjoy food and conversation. Wendy Hunt, executive director of Souhegan Valley Chamber, said a couple years ago they had done one of these events with the Nashua chamber. From time to time, they’ll do these sorts of gatherings. She said there’s a lot of crossover with businesses, and that these events help one grow their business by being able to network with others in the community.
