Bowling Tournament a Success
The eighth annual Paul Mark Bowling Tournament, attended Saturday by around 100 men and women affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, IBEW 2320, whose nearly 5,000 members in New Hampshire are a part of some 20 industries including security, communications and education, culminated at Merrimack’s Ten Pin Bowling Center on Daniel Webster Highway. The presentation of the first-place trophy is delivered here by Steven Soul, far left, business manager for Local 2320, to the ‘Jello Shots,’ a team of bowling fireballs that includes, from left after Soul, bowlers Ken Young, Artie Roberts, Gerry Rearden and Dave Morgan. The day’s event, named for Paul Mark, a departed union brother, drew 25 teams whose entry fees raised nearly $4,000 for political education efforts throughout New Hampshire. The funds bulwark some $40,000 raised in the tournament’s previous years.
