One killed in crash

By ADAM URQUHART - Staff Writer | Feb 14, 2018

NASHUA – A Tuesday morning motor vehicle crash on the Everett Turnpike southbound Exit 1 off-ramp resulted in the death of Pamela Sigalos, 68, of Londonderry.

At 9:07 a.m., New Hampshire State Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident. Troopers responded, along with the Nashua Police and Fire departments. Upon investigation, it was determined that one vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Tacoma, was involved in the crash. The Tacoma was up against a traffic-light post and according to police, “Preliminary investigations revealed the Tacoma was traveling southbound on the off-ramp and struck a light post before striking a traffic light post.”

Nashua Fire and EMS made attempts to render aid to Sigalos, but advised Troopers that she had succumbed to the injuries suffered during the collision.

As a result of the crash, the right turning lane at the end of the off-ramp was shut down for around four hours while New Hampshire State Police were assisted by members of NPD, NFD and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

Anyone with further information regarding this incident is asked to contact Trooper J. DeJesus at 603-223-4381.
