Officials respond to gun incident

HUDSON – A man reportedly shot himself Thursday afternoon at the Granite State Indoor Range and Gun Shop.

Police and fire crews were called to the 2 Hampshire Drive business around 1:30 p.m. for a report of a medical emergency. There, they found a man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The man was rushed to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua for treatment before he was flown via medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Police said late Thursday there is no danger to the public, and they continue to speak to the many witnesses about the incident. Staff at the gun range declined to comment when approached Thursday by The Telegraph.
