Police nab three in Nashua bust

NASHUA – Police arrested three people last week, continuing the city’s ongoing efforts to end the opioid crisis and crack down on drug-related crimes.

As part of Operation Granite Shield, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division arrested Charles Nourse, Steven Perreault and Kaitlyn McGovern.

Nourse, 40, of 328 Eureka Road, Springfield, Vermont, was arrested for acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug, Clonazepam, a felony. He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment Feb. 8.

Perreault, 26, of 3 Kessler Farm Drive, was arrested for two counts of acts prohibited, sale of a controlled drug, Oxycodone, a felony and one count of acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug, Oxycodone, also a felony. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only, and he was scheduled for arraignment Monday.

McGovern, 24, of 25 Laval St., Manchester, was arrested for acts prohibited, sale of a controlled drug, heroin, a felony. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or surety, and she was scheduled for arraignment Monday.
