Merrimack YMCA pool is re-opening

Correspondent photo by LORETTA JACKSON Mike LaChance, chief executive officer of the YMCA of Greater Nashua, gives a pool brush a swoosh through the crystalline water at the Merrimack Y’s newly renovated swimming pool, a bright new facility featuring a multitude of new amenities and improvements to existing components that took some six months and $2 million to accomplish thanks to a highly successful funding campaign that was well supported by many of the 32,000 regional users who patronize the Y each year for a variety of recreational, educational and cultural programs.

The newly renovated swimming pool at the Merrimack branch of the YMCA of Greater Nashua, at 6 Henry Clay Drive, is ready for some fun that’s wet, and perhaps a little wild with games, prizes and raffles.
