N.H. Farm Bureau Young Farmers receive donations

HOLLIS – Monday morning at Brookdale Fruit Farm in Hollis, farmers loaded trucks with pallets of fresh produce to be donated to the New Hampshire Food Bank, and then distributed across the state. On a where temperatures reached above 80 degrees, these trips around the state can be both costly and damaging to the fruits and vegetables, which can suffer from a shortened shelf life, or can even spoil if left in the hot trucks for too long.
