‘Proven Winners’ at Garden club meeting

NASHUA – The Nashua Garden Club will hold its March program at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7 at First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester St. The program, Proven Winners, will be presented by Russ Knowles, of Loudon-based Pleasant View Gardens.

As their regional retail account manager, Russ represents the Proven Winners product line in his relationships between Pleasant View Gardens and multiple large, independent garden centers.

With over 30 years at some of New England’s top garden centers, he has also worked in various capacities including production, shipping, quality and inventory control, and planning. Russ and his wife reside in the New Hampshire lakes region.

This program will invite attendees to start thinking spring. They will obtain a preview of 2018 Proven Winner varieties and a review of most popular varieties from the past. Russ will also share how and where to incorporate these plants into garden beds and container gardens for best success.
