A special kind of community: NSO has supported local families for 28 years

It’s been said, “It takes a village to raise a child.” That is to say, it takes community, and for people with intellectual challenges, it is a special kind of community, indeed. It takes the combined efforts of parents, siblings, schools, caregivers, neighbors, medical professionals and community organizations dedicated to providing opportunities for their growth and development. One such community organization is Nashua Special Olympics, a local program of Special Olympics New Hampshire.
