Group seeks help with annual dinner

By Staff | Nov 17, 2016

NASHUA – On Tuesday, Nov. 22, agencies of The Partnership for Successful Living will host their 16th annual Thanksgiving Dinner for our community’s individuals and families in need.

This festive gathering will take place at 45 High St. in Nashua from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and will provide a free, traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings. The event, due in large part to the generous support received from area businesses and the private sector, is expected to serve over 350 of our less fortunate neighbors who will enjoy live entertainment, a warm meal, and fellowship.

The partnership is still seeking donations of food and paper products from the public to help them provide for the many individuals and families they serve. They are in need of juice boxes, cans of soda, apple cider, canned vegetables (corn and green beans), cranberry sauce, and desserts. Financial support is also welcome.

The Partnership for Successful Living is a collaboration of six nonprofit organizations providing access to housing, health care, education, employment, and supportive services to help individuals and families achieve sustainable independence. Partnership agencies are: Harbor Homes, Inc., Keystone Hall, Healthy at Home, Milford Regional Counseling Services, Southern NH HIV/AIDS Task Force, and Welcoming Light Inc.
