Litchfield Women’s Club starts new year of activities

LITCHFIELD – The Litchfield Women’s Club kicked off another year of service to the community with a wine and cheese open house at Stage Crossing in
mid-September.

With a full slate of events and activities already in the works, the club welcomes its newest members and invites women of all ages and interests to join in the fun.

The next meeting will be in the Litchfield Middle School library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14. Meetings are no more than two hours, and all interested women are encouraged to attend.

A fall outing has been planned for Saturday, Nov. 1, when the club will visit Pickity Place for a five-course herbal luncheon.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, the club will hold its annual blood drive at Griffin Memorial School.

Everyone in the community is asked to donate blood that day if possible.

It isn’t too early to think about Santa’s Workshop, which will be held once again at Litchfield Middle School from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

The club is always on the lookout for donations of goods or services for its holiday raffle table. To make a donation or learn more about this annual event, which benefits the club’s community fund, email litchfieldwomensclub@gmail.com.
