Tom Riley, of Bedford, founder of Riley Enterprises and former president of the New Hampshire Association of Realtors, was installed as 2017 National Association of Realtors treasurer Monday in Orlando, Fla., site of the NAR.
Riley is the first-ever New Hampshire Realtor to become a member of the NAR Leadership Team.
“I am thrilled to have Tom on board as 2017 treasurer,” said NAR President Bill Brown of Alamo, Calif. “His exemplary leadership skills, financial acumen and over 35 years of dedicated experience in the real estate industry makes him a perfect fit for this role.
“I look forward to achieving great success together over the next year on behalf of the more than 1.2 million Realtors throughout the country.”
Riley’s career in real estate spans more than 35 years and includes service at every volunteer level of the Realtor association. He was the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of Realtors president in 1998 and treasurer from 2001-06, and the New Hampshire Association of Realtors president in 2011 and treasurer from 2006-08.
The New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association is pleased to announce the winners of its annual Stars of the Industry Awards.
Presentations and awards were given after dinner following NHLRA’s Annual Meeting of the Membership and Networking Reception at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord on Nov. 7.
The Annual Stars of the Industry Awards recognize individuals who have achieved significant success and growth in their establishments; who have supported the industry and its concerns on national, state or local levels; who have provided opportunities for growth for their personnel; who set the standard for customer service; and who embody the spirit of hospitality.
The Business Member of the Year award was given to Jay Edwards, principal at GranitPath, Milford.
